10’Snow White'
July 11, 2025
Snow White
Since the 2010s, Disney has been churning out live-action adaptations of their own animated classics, a move that’s polarized many Disney fans. Some love seeing their favorite characters and stories come to life on the big screen, while others find these adaptations to be unoriginal downgrades. Regardless of where you fall in that debate,Snow Whiteis Disney’s next live-action adaptation, based on the 1937 classic that started all the magic.
People scoffed when the up-and-coming animator, Walt Disney, announced that he’d be making the first full-length, traditionally animated feature film. This negativity intensified when news spread about the movie’s overblown budget and recurring delays. “Disney’s folly,” they called it. But in the end,Snow White and the Seven Dwarfswas a tremendous hit, providing the business model that Disney has used ever since.

Much like its animated counterpart, 2025’sSnow Whitehas been plagued with controversy and production challenges. This movie is as exciting as a trainwreck; you don’t want to see it, but you may’t help but keep watching. This movie almost feels destined to fail. And on August 18, 2025, we’ll find out if it will, or if Disney’sSnow Whitewill once again prove all the doubters and naysayers wrong.

Since their debut in 2002, both Lilo and Stitch have become Disney icons, which means that it was only a matter of time before they got a live-action adaptation.
2025’sLilo & Stitchwill bring the 2002 animated film to life in a new way.Chris Sanders will reprise his role as Stitch, whose CGI design faithfully resembles the animated character. Cast members from the original film, such as Tia Carrere, Amy Hill, and Jason Scott Lee, will also appear. Set in a modern-day city filled with anthropomorphic animals,Zootopiawas a huge critical and commercial success. It clinched the Oscar for Best Animated Feature while grossing over a billion dollars worldwide. Given this monumental success, it’s no surprise that Disney gave the greenlight on a sequel.Zootopia 2is slated to come out later this year, which is wild becausewe’ve barely heard anything about it.
The movie will follow the heroes of its predecessor, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, as they take on a new case and investigate a mysterious reptile. June 09, 2025
Toy Story 5
Toy Story, Pixar’s first feature-length movie, changed the scope of animation. It did away with the classic 2D style of animation, ushering in the age of 3D computer animation. It was our introduction to Andy’s iconic toys, such as Woody and Buzz Lightyear. The film’s monumental success birthed a wildly popular franchise that’s spawned three sequels. And a fourth one is hitting theaters in 2026.
Toy Story 5will bring back the franchise’s most popular characters, as they face a brand-new threat to playtime: technology. Tom Hanks and Tim Allen will return to reprise their roles as Woody and Buzz respectively. While some fans feel that the series should’ve endedToy Story 3,Toy Story 5will no doubt fill plenty of theater seats with its unique and timely premise.
