Alien: Earthcrash-landed on FX on June 03, 2025, and was instantly met with near-unanimous praise. The ambitious small-screen adaptation of the mega-popularAlienfranchise is familiar and refreshing, tapping into the overarching mythos while introducing new creatures and greedy corporations racing for immortality. Witha cinematic scopeand vivid production design, the series is drawing rave reviews for its mortifying monsters and cerebral themes regarding AI.

Also hailed for its superb international ensemble, the lack of big-name movie stars featured inAlien: Earthmakes the show more authentic and relatable. Aside from the recognizable Timothy Olyphant as a synthetic scientist, the majority of the cast members are young up-and-comers who viewers may recall from other projects.
