Apple TV+just released the first look onChris EvansandAna de Armas’filmGhosted. Apple TV+ released thefirst set of official postersshowing Evans and Armas as theirGhostedcharacters Cole Riggan and Sadie. No synopsis for the film was released yet, but it was announced that the film directed by Dexter Fletcher was written by Paul Wernick, Erik Sommers, Chris McKenna and Rhett Reese.
The romantic action film is not the first time Chris Evans and Ana de Armas got to work together. The pair has previously starred together in Russo Brothers’ movieThe Gray Manin 2022 and both actors also appeared in murder mystery filmKnives Outin 2019.Ghostedis slated for release this coming April through AppleTV+. AppleTV+ kept mum on the release date of the film, and it was the film’s director Dexter Fletcher who gave away the supposed release date ofGhosted.
During the director’s interview withDeadline, he said “Production is well-wrapped. I’m just putting the finishing touches to it now. It’ll be ready for April. I mean, I don’t know if I’m even allowed to say that, but I’ve said it.”

The Relatively Few Details Apple TV+ Released About The Film ‘Ghosted’
The film was first announced in 2021, and it was revealed that Scarlett Johnasson was initially tapped to play Ana de Armas' character Sadie, however the actress had to give way to Ana de Armas after some schedule conflict. No exact date yet has been announced for the film’s release, and it’s likely to be revealed once Apple TV+ drops the official film trailer.
Although very little information about the film was released, Apple TV+ released the cast members and revealed that Evans and Armas will be joined by Adrian Brody as Leveque, Mike Moh as Wagner, Tim Blake Nelson as Borislov, Lizze Broadway as Mattie, Mustafa Shakir as Monte Jackson, Marwan Kenzari as Marco, Anna Deavere Smith as Claudia Yates, Tiya Sircar as Patti, Amy Sedaris, and Tate Donovan.
The film produced by Apple Studios, and Skydance Media was described as a high-concept action-adventure film and has a tagline “Meeting that special someone can be a real adventure.“Ghostedis based on the original idea conceptualized by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick and the pair sold the rights to Skydance. The cast started filming for the film last July 14, 2025 in Atlanta and Washington D.C. and wrapped up in May of the same year.
