The CW Network has released a slew of new photos from next week’s episode ofArrow,“This Is Your Sword”, airing Tuesday, May 6 at 8 PM ET. We saw in theArrow trailerreleased yesterday that one of Oliver’s (Stephen Amell) final tasks before fully transforming into League of Assassins member Al-Sah-him is to marry Nyssa (Katrina Law), the daughter of Ra’s Al Ghul (Matthew Nable), and these new photos show part of that wedding ceremony. Of course, we’ll have to wait until next week to see if this wedding actually happens or not, but from the looks of these photos, both Oliver and Nyssa are seen together at the altar.
It’s worth noting that the season finale, airing Wednesday, May 13, is entitled"My Name Is Oliver Queen", which hints thatArrow’s transformation into Al Sah-him may not fully happen. Also, one day before the season finale, Oliver will appear onThe Flashepisode"Rogue Air"to help Barry take down Reverse Flash. Since Oliver is seen wearing his fullArrowcostume in photos from"Rogue Air", it seems likely that something will transpire, causing him to leave the League of Assassins and go back to beingArrow. What that may be, we’ll have to wait and see.
These photos also show Ra’s holding a sword to Malcolm Merlyn’s (John Barrowman) neck. We saw in the trailer released earlier this week that Malcolm, a.k.a. The Dark Archer, joins forces with Team Arrow to take down Ra’s and Oliver/Al Sah-him, with the help of Katana (Rila Fukushima). However, these photos also show the entire team in shackles after being captured by Ra’s. Take a look at these photos below from next week’s episode ofArrow.
