The exciting news comes courtesy ofDeadline, who have revealed that Lloyd, best known for his role as Doc Brown in Robert Zemeckis’ iconic sci-fi adventure trilogy, will once again wield a giant shotgun and reprise the role of David Mansell.

Lloyd’s role as Dr. Emmett “Doc” Brown in theBack to the Futuretrilogy is by far his most beloved role, but the actor has plenty more to brag about inhis acclaimed back catalog. As well as the lovably eccentric scientist, Lloyd is recognized for roles in the hit sitcomTaxi, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, and as Uncle Fester inThe Addams Family. The actor recentlyreceived a Primetime Emmy nominationfor Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for his role in the Max comedy-dramaHacks, which follows a strange mentorship between a legendary comedian and a young unemployed writer.

Nobody 2has been written by Derek Kolstad, who penned the first movie and the John Wick series, alongside Aaron Rabin (Jack Ryan), Odenkirk, and Umair Aleem (Kate). Kelly McCormick and David Leitch return to produceNobody 2through 87North, with the likes of Odenkirk and Marc Provissiero producing through Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment, and Braden Aftergood through Eighty Two Films.
