Yesterday was Father’s Day, with dads all around the world being celebrated for raising their kids the right way.Dwayne Johnsondecided to get in the Father’s Day spirit by unveiling a new poster for his highly-anticipated reboot ofBaywatch.The Rockis joined by co-starJon Basson this poster, which encourages father’s everywhere to rock their “dad bods.”

We still don’t know exactly who Jon Bass is playing yet, but it has been confirmed thatDwayne Johnsonis playingMitch Buchannon, a role originally portrayed byDavid Hasselhoffin the iconicBaywatchTV series.
Dwayne JohnsonandJon Basswill be joined byZac Efronas Matt Brody, a cocky newcomer who is forced to work with Buchannon to stop a criminal conspiracy that is threatening the beach. The rest of the cast includesAlexandra Daddario(Summer Quinn),Kelly Rohrbach(CJ Parker),Ilfenesh Hadera(Stephanie Holden) andPriyanka Chopra(Victoria Leeds), withHannibal Buress,Jack KesyandAmin Josephplaying unspecified characters. Paramount has issued a July 02, 2025 release date forBaywaytch, which will go up againstAnnabelle 2andThe Nut Job 2.

Production wrapped in May, with a newcast photobeing revealed.
It isn’t known when the first trailer may surface, but it’s possible thatDwayne Johnsonand the cast may descend upon Comic Con next month to unveil the first footage. Given how connectedDwayne Johnsonis with his fans on social media, don’t be surprised if the actor himself announces theBaywatchComic Con plans in the near future.
