Months beforeBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justicehit theaters, rumors surfaced that Warner Bros. was so impressed withBen Affleck’s performance as Batman, they were working on a new deal for the actor to star in and direct a newBatmantrilogy. We reported in July that the actor had signed on to co-write the script for anUntitled Batman RebootwithGeoff Johns, which he’ll also star in and direct. That project hasn’t been officially confirmed by Warner Bros. yet, or given a release date by the studio, butThe Hollywood Reporterrecently spoke with the actor’s agent, CAA’s Patrick Whitesell, who confirmed the script is written, and added that his client is locked in to star inJustice League Part 1andJustice League Part 2.
