Series creatorsTodd A. Kessler,Daniel ZelmanandGlenn Kesslerhave stated in the past that they have a plan for the series that spans five or six seasons, although the future of the show was in jeopardy after the state of Florida, where thehit drama seriesis both shot and set in, eliminated its film and TV tax incentive program, making it much more expensive to shoot the series. While it’s possible that the show’s producers could shop the series elsewhere, unless they film it in a different state with tax incentives, it may be too costly for another network or streaming service to take on.
