AWalking Deadfan favorite from years past will switch sides to play a villain in the superhero seriesSuperman & Lois.Chad L. Coleman, who played the heroic Tyreese inThe Walking Deadin seasons 3-5, has reportedly joined theSuperman & Loiscast. PerThe Direct, the news was announced during the Arrow Guests: Saving Star City panel at DragonCon by Arrowverse alum David Ramsey. While it was noted Coleman would play the main villain, his character wasn’t named, though the Direct report speculates he could be playing Intergang leader Bruno “Ugly” Mannheim.

While it’s not yet confirmed that Coleman will be playing Bruno, it would make sense, as the character was name-dropped in season 2,teasing his arrival. In the comics, Bruno is a feared mob boss and a character that could fit right in as the new main villain forSuperman & Lois. Ahead of season 3, Lois actress Elizabeth Tulloch also teased that a “cool villain” would be coming in the third season.

Elizabeth Tulloch Hopes to See More Investigative Journalism in Season 3

Plot details have not been divulged for season 3 at this time, but Tulloch also said what she was hoping to see happen with Lois Lane. Tulloch hopes to see more of Lane’s journalistic side explored in the new episodes, perhaps with Clark Kent (Tyler Hoechlin) joining her to lend a hand in that way. As Tulloch puts it:

“More of Lois being a journalist and going on scouts or spying on people, the kind of stuff that she would have been doing more when she was still atThe Daily Planet, having some more of that happening in Smallville. More of a team up with Clark as journalists because that’s how they met and fell in love. I think that would be really fun.”

Season 3 ofSuperman & Loisdoesn’t yet have an official premiere date.
