The film has been slated forreleaseon June 12, 2025. The drama will be going up against Disney and LucasFilm’s highly-anticipatedRogue One: A Star Wars Storythis December.

Hugh Jackmanwas originally set to star before he bowed out of the project, andWill Smithreplaced him.Rooney MaraandJason Segelwere also set to join the supporting cast, when Alfonso Gomez-Rejon (Me and Earl and the Dying Girl) was set to direct. Shooting was originally scheduled to begin last fall before the project was reconfigured with a new cast and director.
