Sean Andersmade his Hollywood debut with the hit comedySex Drivein 2008. Four years later, he returned with the father-son comedyThat’s My Boy, which starredAdam SandlerandAndy Samberg. And last year he directed the sequelHorrible Bosses 2. AsThat’s My Boyproved, the filmmaker has a real flare for finding the humor in broken families. FollowingDaddy’s Home, he will then tackle the subject of motherhood inMean MomsstarringJennifer Aniston. The comedy follows a happily married mother of two who moves from small town America to the high class suburbs and is suddenly faced with confronting the cut throat world of competitive parenting.

While Mark Wahlberg is first and foremost known for his dramatic chops, he has proven that he can handle his fare share of laughs. And in some comedies, he’s even stolen the show. The 2004 dramaedyI Heart Huckabeesfirst allowed the former pop star to show what he could do with a few well-placed punchlines. But it wasn’t until he appeared oppositeWill Ferrellin 2010’sThe Other Guysthat he proved he could headline an honest to God comedy. From there, he was propelled into the box office smashTed, which arrived in 2012. He then showed up in the sequelTed 2this past summer. ButDaddy’s Homemay just be his funniest turn on screen yet (only if we’re not countingThe Happening).
