If DC is known for anything, it’s the unexpected ways in which it brings superheroes together, suchas withFlashpoint. In fact,Flashpointis the reason for every significant crossover in DC. As a result, we have some remarkable shows based on it, such asThe Legends of Tomorrow. If you’re a fan of DC animated films, which have been spanning for decades, you should be aware of the Tomorrowverse, a shared universe built on a series of superhero films produced by Warner Bros. Animation and DC Entertainment.
The Tomorrowverse franchise, which began withSuperman: Man of Tomorrowand has since extended to includeJustice Society: World War II,Batman: The Long Halloween, andGreen Lantern: Beware My Power, is a continuation of the DC Animated Universe, which began in 2013 withJustice League: The Flashpoint Paradox.

With the upcoming filmLegion of Super-Heroes, DC is expanding the Tomorrowverse even further. The film, based on DC Comics, will be a huge addition to this year’s DC lineup, incorporating Supergirl and other superheroes into the new animated continuity. Whilefans of the DC animated universeare eagerly awaiting its release, here’s what we know so far.
