Neither Peter Parker love interest Gwen Stacy nor Mary Jane Watson have been cast. And it isn’t immediatly clear if either character will be included in this reboot. Some are speculating that Angourie Rice could be playing Mary Jane, as she does somewhat resemble former Spider-Man actressKirsten Dunst, though the blonde hair pegs her as a Gwen Stacy. There have been murmurs that Sony might be planning a standalone Spider-Gwen movie, so who knows if we’re looking at Spider-Gwen in the flesh here. That may be doubtful, though, as Spider-Gwen lives in an alternate universe. Angourie Rice is 15 years old, and while Tom Holland is 20, his character is supposed to be the same age.
