AMC+is undeniably one of the most convenient OTT platforms, mainly due to its affiliation with AMC Networks, which also owns Shudder, HIDIVE, Acorn TV, Sundance TV, and many more streaming services. As a result, AMC+ frequently brings several intriguing TV shows to its platform with little effort, making it easier for its users to enjoy a wide variety of content.
In September, for example, we’ve seen the release of many new TV shows likeBroken Trailand the addition ofThe Terror, as well as thehighly anticipated sequels ofThe Walking DeadandDark Winds. As with every month, AMC+ is gearing up to offer delightful entertainment the following month, with numerous Shudder Originals being added as part of the Halloween. So, without further ado, here are the best TV series releasing on AMC+ in October 2023.

Given the success ofThe Walking Deadseries, thanks toits unique zombie survival experience, a few characters, such as Daryl Dixon (played by Norman Reedus), have become fan favorites. Consequently, the franchise decided to provide fans with an excellent spinoff series, which was released on Sep. 10 and is still airing episodes on AMC+ on a weekly basis.
InThe Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, Daryl is washed ashore in France without knowing how he got there and tries to piece everything together. With no idea how to get back, he decides to grow resilient to survive for the time being and eventually find his way back home. However, the connections he forms along the way complicate his life.

Creepshow Season 4 (Oct. 13)
Creepshowis a horror anthology series that serves as a sequel to the 1982 film of the same name. The Shudder Original series has so far released three seasons, with the fourth set to premiere on both Shudder and AMC+ on Oct. 13. It adapted a number of short storiesfrom acclaimed writers such as Stephen King, Joe Hill, and Josh Malerman.

The first part of the eighth season was released not long ago, and fans are already finding it difficult to wait for a second part. Especially withso many unanswered questionsand several of their favorite characters still in peril, it’s hard to keep their excitement at bay. Thankfully, the series is almost within audiences' reach, as it will be released on AMC+ on Oct. 22.

The first part ofFear the Walking Deadseason eight saw Morgan (Lennie James) leaving the group with his daughter Mo in search of Rick Grimes. With Madison (Kim Dickens) in charge, the second part will focus on her plans to transform the island into a safe haven that was always meant to be, as opposed to the cynical rule of PADRE.
Unfortunately for her, the word of this safe haven spreads out rapidly, attracting unwanted attention from those who covet it. Will she be able to save it before it falls into the hands of another evil overlord?

The Vanishing Triangle (Oct. 26)
The Vanishing Triangleis a new Sundance Now Original series that will have a two-episode premiere on Oct. 26, with new episodes released every Thursday until the season finale on Nov. 23. The six-episode series, created by Ivan Kavanagh (The Fading Light), stars Allen Leech and India Mullen.

The plot revolves around Lisa Wallace, an investigative journalist who lost her mother at the hands of a brutal killer twenty years ago. After publishing an article about the incident, she discovers that Amy Reynolds, one of her friends, as well as several other young women, have gone missing. Suspecting that it may be the doing of her mother’s killer, Lisa works with Detective David Burkley to save the victims and put an end to the perpetrator’s terror.
The Boulet Brothers' Dragula Season 5 (Oct. 31)
The Boulet Brothers' Dragula, following its debut in 2016, quickly became a Halloween season staple of horror thanks to Shudder’scontinuous success streak of four seasons. This groundbreaking reality TV series will premiere its fifth season on Oct. 31, with new episodes airing weekly. Given that the series did not return last year, the fifth season is predicted to be the biggest and baddest, boasting the most diverse cast in the series' history.
In this one-hour-long reality series created and hosted by drag horror icons, the Boulet Brothers, eleven drag artists compete in various challenges, including costume creation, live performance, and makeup, for a chance to win $25,000 and a crown declaring them “Dragula - the World’s Next Drag Supermonster.”
