Fans who attended thePerson of Interestpanel atComic-Conon Saturday were given a surprise treat, the first trailer for HBO’sWestworld. While it may seem odd for an HBO trailer to debut during a CBS panel,Person of InterestcreatorJonathan Nolanalso co-createdWestworld, which has been confirmed to debut sometime in 2016 onHBO. The network hasn’t released the first trailer yet, but the show’s Twitter page did debut four new photos, featuring series starsJames Marsden,Anthony Hopkins,Thandie Newton,Ed HarrisandJeffrey Wright.

The Hollywood Reporterreveals that theWestworldtrailer shown at SDCC opens with an “ominous character voiceover” saying, “Bring her back online. Have you ever questioned the nature of your reality?“Anthony Hopkins' character is also briefly featured in scenes that, like the photos below, depict aWesternsetting. The series is based on the 1973 film by Michael Crichton, which is set at a futuristic resort where wealthy patrons can visit recreations of different time periods and experience their wildest fantasies with life-like robots.

The series also starsIngrid Bolsø Berdal,Miranda Otto,Simon Quarterman, Ben Hicks and Jeremy Hovan, alongsideJames Marsden,Anthony Hopkins,Thandie Newton,Ed HarrisandJeffrey Wright.
