Hanks is the owner ofa production company called Playtone, named after the record label in his feature directorial debut,That Thing You Do.Currently, Hanks is an executive producer for a WWII drama entitledMasters Of The Air,following a group of American pilots behind enemy lines. Field is also starring in the upcoming series,Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty, appearing on HBO.
