The 1990 action-comedy starring Culkin, O’Hara, Joe Pesci, and Daniel Stern, among others, is one of the most beloved Christmas movies ever made.Home Aloneis one of the U.S.’s highest-grossing live-action comedies, which should come as no surprise, being that it came from the mind of John Hughes, who brought us ‘80 hits, includingThe Breakfast Club,Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,Pretty in Pink, andSixteen Candles.
