He not only has Knock, Knock arriving in a few weeks, butThe Green Infernois also coming to theaters this September. This double-whammy marks his first directorial outing since taking the helm onHostel: Part IIway back in 2007. But he’s been busy since then, starring in movies such asInglourious Basterdsand producing hit shows likeHemlock Grovefor Netflix. But it’s Knock, Knock that will firmly reestablish his place as a modern-day master of the domestic thriller.

Keanu Reeves is coming off last year’s hit action-thrillerJohn Wick, where he starred as the title character. The actor is set to return for the sequelJohn Wick 2, although it isn’t known when filming may begin on theaction sequel. He also has a number of projects in various stages of development, such asThe Neon Demon,The Bad Batch,The Panopticonand the long-awaitedBill & Ted 3.

We don’t yet have a theater count forKnock, Knock, but it will have quite a bit of competition. The thriller is squaring off against Warner Bros.‘Pan, Relativity Media’sMastermindsand Sony’sSteve Jobs.
