We’re just under three months from getting brand newX-Filesepisodes. And that’s still too long to wait. Fox knows this, so to help with the agonizing anticipation, the network has released a new poster and two new pieces of promo art featuring the return of everyone’s favorite supernatural investigators Mulder and Scully. We also get a new look atSkinnerand The Cigarette Smoking Man.

Walter Skinner alongsideDavid DuchovnyandGillian Andersonin their iconic roles as FBI AgentsFox MulderandDana Scully. X-Files returns to FOX with a special two-night event beginning Sunday, Jan. 24 (10:00-11:00 PM ET/7:00-8:00 PM PT), following the NFC Championship Game, and continuing with its time period premiere on Monday, Jan. 25 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT).

These new episodes ofX-Filesare set thirteen years after the original run. The next mind-bending chapter of this popular sci-fi drama is a thrilling, six-episode event series from creator/executive producerChris Carter. This marks the momentous return of the Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning pop culture phenomenon, which remains one of the longest-running sci-fi series in network television history.
