With two ofMarvel’s four Netflix series already available on the streaming service,Marvel’s DaredevilandMarvel’s Jessica Jones, many are wondering when the next show,Marvel’s Luke Cage, will debut. Fans have already seenMike Colteras the title character in the first season ofMarvel’s Jessica Jones, but, with production still under way onMarvel’s Luke Cage, we have no idea when these next episodes will arrive. While we wait for an official announcement fromNetflix, theJessica Jones Twitterpage has released a new character poster featuringMike Colteras Luke Cage.

Last month, thestreaming servicereleased a strange photo onMarvel’s Jessica JonesTwitter page, which featured a file folder marked “Cage - November.” Since there was nothing else of significance featured in this photo, many fans assumed this meant the streaming service was teasing a November debut for their third series,Marvel’s Luke Cage. Of course, Marvel and Netflix still haven’t confirmed the exact premiere date yet, but another report claimed that the show many actually debut sometime in late summer.

Marvel’s Luke Cageis the third of four new shows on Netflix, the first of which,Marvel’s Daredevil, debuted in April, followed byMarvel’s Jessica Jonesin November. The second season ofMarvel’s Daredevilis debuting in March, andJessica Joneswas justrenewedlast week for a second season, though it isn’t known when that will debut yet. Netflix’s Ted Sarandos said at the TCA winter tour to expect a range of eight to 15 months between each show’s debut. But that might not be the case withMarvel’s Luke Cage.

IfMarvel’s Luke Cagedebuts in August, it will be six months afterDaredevil Season 2. It’s worth noting that the first season ofMarvel’s Jessica Jonesdebuted seven months afterMarvel’s Daredevil, but there is only a five-month gap between the first season ofMarvel’s Jessica Jonesand the second season ofMarvel’s Daredevil. We’ll have to wait and see if Netflix will issue an official premiere date soon.
