His sentient, foul-mouthed drunken ax, aptly named Axe, acts as Owen’s conscience as they bring violent justice to the world and kill any witch they meet. The comic was created and written by Michael Moreci, with art by Nathan Gooden. The first issue ofBarbaricsold over 35,000 copies, making it Vault’s best-selling comic ever and outselling many Marvel and DC titles.

He has also played Professor X in the X-Men and MCU film franchises, and has a prolific voice-over career.He is in discussions to voice Axe, Owen’s drunken, profanity-spewing ax.

Barbarichas sold over half a million copies in its trade paperback collected volumes, according to Vault Comics.
