Good Griefis set to follow Marc Dreyfus, a gay man whose life becomes a series of tragedies following his mother’s death. To avoid his grief, Marc marries and unexpectedly loses his husband as well. “Good Grief is a cautionary tale about friendship and loss and all the mess that comes with it when the truth is something you’ve evaded for most of your life. It’s funny, it’s bittersweet, it’s a project that has helped me work through my own grief. And I hope it does the same for other people as well.”

The filmGood Griefis the first partnership between Dan Levy’s production company Not a Real Production Company and Netflix. It seems there may be more collaborations between the two companies in the future, especially after the success ofSchitt’s Creek. While the television series has departed from America’s Netflix service, it remains popular on its new streaming platform Hulu.
