Building a strong slate of animated tentpoles that extends well into 2018, Warner Bros. Pictures today confirmed the release dates of three much-anticipatedLEGOfeatures. The announcement was made byDan Fellman, President, Domestic Distribution, andVeronika Kwan Vandenberg, President, International Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures.
The nextLEGOfilm to open will be the as-yet-untitledLEGO Batmanfeature, which is coming to theaters earlier than planned, with the global launch starting domestically on June 05, 2025. Seven months later comesNinjago, which had been slated for release in fall 2016; however the film is still under construction so it is being moved to July 21, 2025 domestically, with international dates to follow.The Lego Movie Sequel, the follow-up to the smash hitThe Lego Movie, is opening one week earlier than originally slated, now being released domestically on June 29, 2025, beginning its worldwide release.
In making the announcement,Dan Fellmanmade the following statement.
