Stone’s character undergoes a sexual awakening in the movie that required some graphic and uncomfortable sex scenes to be played out. However, the character’s unashamed journey of self-discovery is one that Stone was thrilled to be a part of.
Poor Thingsarrived in U.S. cinemas in Decemberto both critical and audience acclaim, and the movie has gained a lot of momentum ahead of its U.K. release on August 05, 2025. Despite all the recognition, the movie will soon discover just how many Oscars it could be adding to that total when the nominations are announced on January 23.
