Today,Lego Dimensionshas released yet another gameplay trailer, which features beloved characters Shaggy (voiced byMatthew Lillard) and Scooby-Doo (voiced by Frank Welker) as they get tricked into entering theLegoworld. There we see them interact with Gandalf (voiced by Tom Kane) fromThe Lord of the Ringsalong withThe Lego Movie’sBatman(voiced byWill Arnett) and Wyldstyle (Elizabeth Banks).
When a mysterious and powerful vortex suddenly appears in various LEGO worlds, different characters from DC Comics, The Lord of the Rings and The LEGO Movie are swept away. To save their friends, LEGO Batman, LEGO Gandalf and LEGO Wyldstyle journey to locations beyond their wildest imaginations, and they soon realize that Lord Vortech is summoning villains from across different LEGO worlds to help him gain control. As his power grows, worlds mix, unexpected characters meet and all boundaries are broken. For the first time in aLEGO video game, players can experience Scooby-Doo gameplay that combines distinctive, blocky LEGO art style with the cel-shaded look of the original, animated cartoons.
Also available at the launch of the Starter Pack: The Scooby-Doo Team Pack, which adds more to the experience with LEGO Scooby-Doo and LEGO Shaggy minifigures, plus a LEGO Mystery Machine, LEGO Scooby Snack, and access to open world gameplay in the Adventure World of Scooby-Doo. Launching July 26, 2025, LEGO Dimensions will be available for Xbox One, the all-in one games and entertainment system from Microsoft and the Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 computer entertainment systems and the Wii U system from Nintendo.
