Apparently she has joined anupcoming superhero movie, firmly staking her flag in some prime MCU real estate. Though, she refuses to confirm what the movie is at this time.

There are 9 more movies inMarvel Phase 3followingCaptain America: Civil War, withDoctor Strangealready in the can. The two most logical entries in the franchise are the next two being shot,Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2andThor: Ragnarok. We already know thatSylvester Stallonehas some sort of role inGuardians, is it possible that we’ll see him reunited with hisThe Specialistco-star?

There’s also the possibility that she has signed on for a small role inSpider-Man: Homecoming, which shoots later this year as well, and is officially considered part ofMarvel Phase 3, even though it is a Sony co-production. Perhaps she is playing one of Peter Parker’s high school teachers? Could Peter and Sharon Stone’s unnamed character be entering Mary Kay Letourneau territory? Will we get a sly play on the infamousBasic Instinctcrossing of the legs scene in a classroom? Who knows!Sharon Stoneis no stranger to superhero movies. She infamously played villain Laurel Hedare in the campy 2004 bombCatwoman, making her one of the few Marvel/DC crossover actresses.
