It’s no secret or surprise thatsuperhero movieshave dominated at the box office over the past few years. As of now, superhero adventures based on iconic comic books currently represent five of the top 10 movies at the domestic box office,Captain America: Civil War($407.7 million),Deadpool$363 million,Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice($330.3 million),Suicide Squad($262.2 million) andX-Men: Apocalypse($155.4 million). Today we have our first look at a much different superhero movie,Guardians, which comes all the way from Russia and gives us a look at some new, wholly original heroes.
This domestic trailer surfaced onYouTube, but, like most domestic trailers for foreign movies, it features some rather sub-standardEnglish dubbing. Still, if you’re looking for a fresh superhero movie that isn’t based on any previously-established comic books,Guardiansmay be just what your looking for. While the title may remind fans of Marvel’sGuardians of the Galaxy, these new superheroes are much more reminiscent of theFantastic Four.

These heroes include a man who can manipulate stone (Sebastien Sisak), another who is a half-man, half-bear (Anton Pampushnyy), a woman who has the ability to manipulate and turn herself into a form of water (Alina Lanina) and a teleporter with some massive sickle weapons (Sanzhar Madiev)
