And boy, it’s a doozy! This action-packed sneak peek will have you anxiously awaiting November 6th with baited breath. But if that wasn’t enough, we also have a new TV spot that sends Bond around the globe, with a quick and exciting stop off in Mexico City for their Day of the Dead festival.
A cryptic message from the past sendsJames Bond(Daniel Craig) on a rogue mission to Mexico City and eventually Rome, where he meets Lucia Sciarra (Monica Bellucci), the beautiful and forbidden widow of an infamous criminal. Bond infiltrates a secret meeting and uncovers the existence of the sinister organisation known asSpectre. Meanwhile back in London, Max Denbigh (Andrew Scott), the new head of the Centre for National Security, questions Bond’s actions and challenges the relevance of MI6, led by M (Ralph Fiennes).
Bond covertly enlists Moneypenny (Naomie Harris) and Q (Ben Whishaw) to help him seek out Madeleine Swann (Léa Seydoux), the daughter of his old nemesis Mr White (Jesper Christensen), who may hold the clue to untangling the web ofSpectre. As the daughter of an assassin, she understands Bond in a way most others cannot. As Bond ventures towards the heart ofSpectre, he learns of a chilling connection between himself and the enemy he seeks, played byChristoph Waltz.
The supporting cast is rounded out byDave Bautista, Rory Kinnear andStephanie Sigman. When the full cast forSpectrewas announced, many thought thatChristoph Waltzwould be playing the iconic Bond villainBlofeld, since MGM won back the rights to the Spectre organization and the villain Blofeld back in 2013. However, his character was revealed to be Franz Oberhauser, although many fans still theorize that this is all just a ruse, and he is actually the iconic Blofeld.
Spectrewill hit theaters on November 6, going up against 20th Century Fox’sThe Peanuts Movieand The Outskirts. It was recently announced that British singerSam Smithis singing theSpectretheme song, dubbed “Writing on the Wall,” which is now available to purchase and stream.
