In an interview withEW, showrunner Eric Wallace talked about preparing to deliver an unforgettable finale. That includes the return of familiar faces, such asRick Cosnett, who played Eddie Thawne,Matt Letscher, who played Eobard Thawne, andJessica Parker Kennedy, who played Nora West-Allen.

A Family-Themed Superhero Show
Cosnett, who played Detective Eddie Thawne in the first season, has been a recurring character throughout the series, appearing in seasons 2, 3, and 8. Wallace is very happy to have Cosnett back, as he was an essential part of the show’s first season.
“It’s especially wonderful as Rick was an integral part of the show’s inaugural season. So having him return to help us conclude our show’s incredible nine-year run was more than a privilege. It was a no-brainer.”
Letscher, who has made multiple appearances in the Arrowverse, will return for a special episode that the showrunner has been eager to tell. This episode promises to be wild and bittersweet, and fans, both old and new, will surely love it.
