With themultiverse being torn open and villains and heroes from previous Spider-Man moviesall convalescing on Tom Holland’s patch, the film set up a thrilling and emotional end to this trilogy ofSpider-Manmovies with many surprises. As well as clearing up some longstanding questions about the MCU’s timeline sinceAvengers: Endgame, such as how longNick Fury has been sitting on a space station while a Skrull pretends to be him, and what happened in the world of sorcery when Doctor Strange was blipped by Thanos for five years, we also discovered what that black suit everyone fell in love with was really all about.

Spider-Man: No Way Home

Following the opening of the film, when Holland’s hero is a bit of a social pariah thanks to the revelations of Mysterious, which are taken to heart by many due to the continuedanti-Spider-Man ranting of one J. Jonah Jameson. This results in an unhappy citizen throwing a bucket of green paint over the webbed-wonder, and when it comes to heading off to trap Electro, Peter has to improvise rather than turn up to the scene with a huge splodge of paint over his suit, and this leads to him turning the suit inside out.

Yes that is correct, Marvel and Sony’s marketing of the movie had fans spending a lot of time theorizing about an inside-out spider-suit. That is the power that we are dealing with when it comes to the MCU that the anticipation of a film will make fans question and pick apart everything to find something new and exciting in the mix. As it turned out, the reveal of the suit was more comical than cosmic, but fans haven’t minded one bit as there is very little thatSpider-Man: No Way Homedid wrong, as has been reflected in reviews and box office receipts for the weekend which could easily have its own tagline of “What Pandemic?”

WithSpider-Man: No Way Homebeing one of those few movies that hasdefinitely been worth the wait, it also goes a long way to give a glimpse of the future with two post-credit scenes.
