Star WarsCelebration kicks off on Thursday morning in Anaheim, and we already know thatfor fans who won’t be attending, portions of the conventionwill be streamed online atStarWars.com. The live stream kicks off with the opening panel at 10 AM, which willreportedly include the debut of the first full trailerforStar Wars: The Force Awakens, presented by directorJ.J. Abramsand producerKathleen Kennedy. While we wait for the festivities to begin in the morning,Bravo Intelhas debuted our first official look at a Stormtrooper from the highly-anticipated sequel, which was featured in the officialStar WarsCelebration booklet.
As you may recall, when the original teaser trailer debuted back in late November, fans got a brief glimpse at the familiar Stormtrooper helmet, but this image gives us our first full look at the iconic Stormtrooper costume. It has been rumored thatJohn Boyega’s character Finn is a Stormtrooper that has gone AWOl, teaming up with Rey (Daisy Ridley) on a mission to return a lost lightsaber to its rightful owner, who, according to these rumors, is Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill). Naturally, since no official plot details have been released yet, it isn’t known if this is true or not, but hopefully theStar WarsCelebration kickoff will shed more light on the plot.
