Production has beenwrapped since November, but we’re still learning about new cast members as we await the next trailer. British journalist Lizo Mzimba recently revealed that U.K.-based actressAmybeth Hargreavesis playing a female Stormtrooper inStar Wars: The Force Awakens.

The journalist noticed on the actress' Spotlight UK page that she is playing a Stormtrooper inStar Wars: The Force Awakens, although the listing has since been removed from the page. Of course, nothing is known about the extent of her role, and if she will even have any lines or take off her Stormtrooper helmet. Lizo Mzimba also speculated thatAmybeth Hargreavesmay be a stand-in or a double forGwendoline Christie’s character, who is also rumored to be a Stormtrooper.Amybeth Hargreavesis six feet tall, so she could be a good match to play a double forGwendoline Christie, who stands six feet three inches tall. It’s worth noting that stuntwomanTracy Eddonplayed a Stormtrooper inStar Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jediduring the Endor scenes. But this would be the first time a woman Stormtrooper has been depicted on screen as a character.
