Warner Bros.‘Suicide Squadis still shooting in Toronto, although we haven’t seen anything from the set over the past few weeks, since the production has moved indoors at Pinewood Studios. When production was taking place on the streets of Toronto, we did see plenty ofJared Letoas The Joker, including a scene where the Batmobile is seen chasing after his exotic sports car. The actor has reportedly taken a “method” approach, staying in character the whole time he’s on the set, to the point where one of his co-stars,Scott Eastwood, revealed he was afraid to approach him. Here’s whatScott Eastwoodhad to say below.

“I think I was sort of afraid to approach him because I didn’t want to mess with his thing going on. I knew him before. I’d met him before he was the Joker. I just met him asJared Leto. I didn’t know if I wanted to mess with his thing.”

Scott Eastwoodalso went on to praise the work of directorDavid Ayer, revealing that the cast members primarily do all of their own stunts, and that the world will be ‘surprised" about what the director is really doing.

“[David Ayer] is doing something the world will be really surprised about. We’re doing a lot of our own stunts. Really physical. David is a very physical filmmaker. He wants everyone doing their own stuff. He doesn’t hire guys who aren’t willing to do that. I think active guys are always living with injuries. You’re always dealing with an injury. That’s part of it.”

Scott Eastwoodis actually one of the few cast members inSuicide Squadwhose role has not been confirmed. There were rumors that he was playing Steve Trevor, the love interest ofWonder Woman, but we recently reported thatChris Pineis in talks for that role, so whoeverScott Eastwoodis playing will remain a mystery, for now.
