What Can You Expect From ‘Suits LA’?
Although maintaining the sharp, witty dialogue and the legal maneuverings that fans have come to expect fromSuits, the new series offers a fresh perspective by introducing a new cast and shifting the setting from New York’s corporate law to Los Angeles' entertainment law. Accordingly,Suits LAfollows entertainment lawyer Ted Blackas he navigates high-profile clients in the West Coast entertainment industry. Given the change of scenery,Suits LAbrings with it the promise of brand-new challenges and dilemmas, with Black pushed to navigate and overcome them all.
Additionally, the spinoff also moves away from the dual lead dynamic of the parent series.Suitsleaned heavily on the dynamic between Harvey Specter and Mike Ross. The relationship between the duo was one ofSuits’biggest appeals. However,Suits LAfocuses on a sole protagonist, having Ted Black single-handedly lead the narrative, albeit supported by a diverse and talented cast. With his sharp mind, Black is called to navigate challenges both in the professional and personal spheres.

Despite doing many things differently and having a primarily fresh cast,Suits LAmaintains its connection to the parent series and simultaneously brings viewers a sense of familiarity byinvolving Macht’s Harvey Specterin its narrative.
