BecauseGeorgie & Mandy’s First Marriageis a spinoff and not a complete continuation ofYoung Sheldon, it is understandable that some characters will linger in the background or not be seen at all. Obviously, Montana Jordan and Emily Osment will be reprising their roles, but plenty of fans want to know who else they can expect to see. As of right now,Will Sasso and Rachel Bay Jones, who play Mandy’s parents, will be joining the young stars on the set, and Steve Molaro, the co-creator ofYoung Sheldon, says they plan to use the same babies who play Ceecee because they, as well as their parents, are so great (perGlamour).
If Meemaw (Annie Potts), Mary Cooper (Zoe Perry), and Missy Cooper (Raegan Revord) do not make it into the new series, fans at least hope that they will be mentioned so that there will be closure for all of their pain and grief. Perhaps it will be good for Georgie to distance himself from the Coopers for a while so he may focus on being the best dad and husband.
